Pressure to move conversations off the platform quickly, before genuine rapport has developed, can indicate scams or exploitation attempts.

Requests for money or financial assistance, regardless of the story offered, almost always indicate scams. Romance scams, emergency scams, and investment scams are common on platforms like ours. Never send money to someone you've met only through video chat, regardless of how convincing their story seems.

Inconsistent stories, refusal to video chat (if you've been doing so successfully), or sudden emergencies that require money or personal information are classic scam indicators. Trust your instincts—if something feels wrong, proceed with caution or end the conversation.

Reporting and Enforcement

When community members violate these guidelines, we take action to protect the community. This section describes our reporting and enforcement processes.
